Where do you want to be? What do you want to do? Whatever it is… have faith – You can do it… anybody can!

It can be even more enjoyable given a 2nd opportunity to achieve your goal(s). Hold tightly on to your dreams… don’t let anyone steal them under the guise of “helping you see reality”. The mere existence of a desire within you, brings about the possibility of it’s manifestation in the quantum field. It’s not magic!

All one has to do is to do the best you can, with what you’re given… that is, if you are going to be a “success” in any aspect of life. Listen for yourself – to those people who have “made it”. It’s not just the Rich and Famous, or the “Beautiful” people that we hear of… it’s also the “regularJoe” and “Jane” who have accomplished great results. As examples, they are a little harder to find. They don’t necessarily stand out in the crowd because of their lack of notoriety. Yet because of their persistence and determination we often get inspired to go beyond our comfort zone and reach our zenith.

“It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves” Sir Edmund Hillary (1st Man to reach the peak of Mount Everest – tallest point on Earth)

I wanted to be proficient in the martial arts. I knew that I’d never be a “Bruce Lee”, but I had a feeling that I had a “natural” ability for it. Turned out that I was very strong in “kumite” (sparring, or fighting).

What am I saying ? Is all of this simply gibberish? No… the theory is to”make lemonade out of lemons”. If you have not yet reached your plateau of success – for whatever reason – don’t give up… it may only remain unseen for a scant few hours of work, or mere inches away from the gooollllddddd.

Have a listen to the story of my “hobby”…and how the “lost years” make engaging in it once again has brought a “joie de vie” back in my life!

Yesterday was a day for breaking boards and breaking shackles... a most gratifying but unusual day! I attended a seminar at the Kai-Shin Karate Club in Haliburton, Ontario. The seminar was conducted by Sensei Mike Chapman (6th Dan) and was well attended by affiliated club members, some who had traveled 2 hrs or more to attend.

I had not met Sensei Chapman before this seminar… he’s strict, tough, but a most likeable instructor. He’s not a big man physically and I dare say (respectfully) if you saw him on the street, only his confident stride would give you any indication of his skill and mastery of this martial art.

In attendance there was a good representation of the many levels from beginners to expert, both male and female. There was , I’d guess about 50 or so participants including 15 -20 Black Belts. Everyone was paired up with a team member whom they would spend the seminar with breaking boards.

I referred to it as “breaking boards… breaking shackles” because only through experience will you ever know what you ARE… or ARE NOT capable of. One of the most astute attendees was a young lad, a Green Belt… who was probably no more than 10 or 12 years old. Sensei Chapman endearingly referred to him throughout the seminar as “a Monster”…not because of misbehavior, but because of his tenacity. I think the kid outperformed some of the BlackBelts inasmuch as he broke every board, except 1 on his first attempt.

I had the good fortune of working along side the Head Instructor of our own club Bancroft Martial Arts - Sensei Dave Dalley, who would extend the benefit of his knowledge which helped me position myself correctly and focus properly on the clean execution of the techniques we were practicing. (…and yes, for the record I made clean breaks on each first attempt) We also had several other senior belt students from our club attending… all of whom did exceptionally well. (My thanks also to Sensei Wayne Lord and fellow students from Bancroft Martial Arts – Diana, Paula, Victoria, Bill, Celum, Kevin and Fraser)

Sensei Chapman did a lot to put the group at ease just by his demeanor, his straight-forward manner of speaking - imbued with some subtle humor, and of course, his technique. He assured all of us that some would be successful, others may not… but the key was to learn something from the experience. He also suggested that “attitude” and “focus” would prevail. If you practice, focus on what you’re about to strike… you will be successful, he said – it’s easy!

My observation was that there were some students (including some BlackBelts) who did not have the focus or the attitude to break the boards, (and later concrete) for no apparent reason… they beat themselves. Our little Green Belt “monster” was breaking the same boards as everyone else. My guess is that he did not think that he would not… so he did!

As Sensei Chapman came by our stations throughout the proceedings, he would comment on one’s apparent readiness, posture and technique. I took a couple of shots to the chest, ribs and abs as he demonstrated for me – on me – what the technique I was about to perform would do if executed correctly. Let me just say… Sensei’s gentle shots were well placed and effective.

That’s really where this story comes full circle. Prior to attending, I wasn’t sure about breaking boards and was hoping that I wouldn’t embarrass myself. (* I had worked hard to earn Shodan {BlackBelt 1stDan } in Shorin-Ryu Karate 30 years earlier, but until a couple of months ago had never been back to train, gained 30 lbs. and have Parkinson’s) These type of events are something where you can defeat yourself with the wrong attitude. I learned alot yesterday, about myself, my focus and my abilities.

As a metaphor for achieving what you want in life, it was a good exercise to illustrate what you can do with the right attitude, no matter how big, or how small you are. Breaking Boards… Breaking Shackles

It’s always helpful to have a good resource that you can count on. I was just over on the Warrior Forum and man… with all the offerings and information, it’s like being a kid at his birthday party… you just don’t know where to start!

Kimberly Castleberry just-ask-kim.com

My friend, Kimberly Castleberry just happened to be including a discussion of the Warrior Forum in her post “Do You WF?” on her blog today… www.just-ask-kim.com . This gal always has the current edge on social media and technology in her writings.

If you’re wondering how to do something a little “techy”… and don’t want to dig through all the bullshit, fillers and offers that tend to be on some of the other blogs out there, check her out. Lots of useful information presented in an easy-to-understand format…and in a way that might often bring a smile to your face.

Kimberly tends to stick up for the “small guy”. If she senses something out there in the world of internet marketing, whether it’s tech-related, or some guru that’s a little “off-center”, I’ve found that Kimberly will often times call out the issue she feels is perhaps not represented as it should be and works to set the record straight.

Here, we have a marketer, who is also tech-savvy. So it’s not likely that somebody’s pitch is going to baffle her with bullshit. …and that makes it better for ALL of us! Why? Because she is passionate about Internet Marketing …and YOU – the small entrepreneur online trying to make it work.

I have personally found her blog to be a source of not only technical understanding made easy, but also she has pointed the way to some great savings on various products. One example is that through one of her promotional offers, I found the latest Camtasia Studio (Full Edition) for over 60% off regular price. (I paid $119 instead of $300).

It pays to read her blog and follow her advice. Like, as I started off with on this post about the Warriors Forum. Kim is spot-on-the-money when she says that the site is so vast it is a BIG time sink. It is a fantastic resource for just about everything internet-related.

However, the caution she suggests is that You should know what you’re looking for before you go on WF because once you do go on site, there is such a “feast” of information and offers. You could easily become overwhelmed and overstuffed with so many choices and inexpensive purchases that it would take a considerable effort to get through without the benefit of having a goal and an exit plan. Start with just-ask-kim.com and you’ll be good to go!

“I am a Recovering Procrastinator”…or at least I used to think that I was. It may seem to be a bit of a stretch for some to go from procrastinator to producer, but I believe you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel once you’ve read through this content.

Recently, I had the very good fortune of being invited by my friend Chris Kilber and introduced to a couple of dynamic individuals… Susan Sly and Erica Combs. As we talked, I was invited to an online presentation hosted by Susan Sly, and featuring Jeffrey Combs. I’ve blogged recently about this presentation on Facebook so I wont go over old news. However it is because of that presentation, I can honestly say that I’ve re-ignited a long-held dream.

If you are not yet acquainted with Jeffrey Combs, may I respectfully suggest that you should…. for so many valued reasons. Many people, he says, find his methods abrasive. But with having personally coached over 6,ooo individuals over the last 10 years (with fees now in the neighborhood of $500.00/hr.) he must be doing something right! I know from listening to him on the webinar that he has got the “goods”, so it was a “no-brainer” for me to purchase a set of his most popular success coaching audio CDs. ( www.goldenmastermind.com )

During Jeffrey’s webinar, I had found myself nodding in agreement one too many times, as he described various disempowering traits of many who seek success in different areas of their lives. I soon found out that he knows of what he speaks, having spent many “lost years” in a bottle or using drugs. First, to share those personal moments publicly, in order to encourage others is noble. But to do it without becoming evangelical about it, is really a gift to his audience.

The same thing applies as he talks about shedding the mantle of “procrastinator” and the blossoming of a “producer”. His style is down-to-earth and I believe him to be genuine in his interest to help. As I listen to “Confessions of a Recovering Procrastinor” and “The Psychology of Asking”, I find that with some authentic effort on my part, I should consider myself a “Recovering Procrastinator”.

Procrastination, he tells us, is often a “control issue” because we can at least control our procrastination. He delves into the mind-body connection and identifies procrastination as the effect, as he also intimates the cause. Often times, he points out that we subconsciously set goals that are impossible to achieve, which then give us reason to procrastinate. Overcoming procrastination starts with understanding why you procrastinate. Jeffrey lays out 12 main reasons why we procrastinate and 6 keys to overcoming it.

Having the understanding that our unconscious mind listens verbatim to what we tell ourselves, Jeffrey tells us to take it a step further and leave the “procrastinator” handle behind. Instead as you start the work to overcome procrastination, tell yourself… “I am a Producer!”

Who else can really say that they’ve got the “feel” for what people (especially marketers) need. Something to help them… and in turn help himself go from broke to $50K /month in under a year.

Is this the busiest guy in Online and Network marketing? He goes from being pissed-off at his state of existence and turning around his sagging fortunes in the real-estate industry and is now one of the darlings of the network marketing industry.

But it wasn’t without it’s challenges. After his self-admission of failing in a dozen enterprises, his determination to make abrupt changes in his life, as he says …’to leave “Loserville” or never to go back to “Suck-it Town”, ‘ has propelled him forward to “Star” status among network marketers. And with good reason.

There is a lot of hype in the online world. That’s simply a fact that can be disputed. It’s fraught with thinly-veiled promises of wealth for next to no effort. It has become easier to spot the bullshit after you’ve sampled a few offerings.

Then along comes Ray Higdon. Here is a guy that you want to cheer for… a genuine, likable guy who has the best interests of his list at heart. His demeanor is steady and even, his delivery pleasant and non-threatening. How he ties it all together is the key to his success. Simply put… he DELIVERS! Marketers are starved for reliable, good value, current - content. It’s not rocket science… it’s awareness.

Ray tells us that it’s making the connections… the attraction marketing. that is behind his success, and I think if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find his passion for this “game”. If you’re sinking in the vast sea of network marketing… among the 97% of online marketers who make NOTHING, You owe it to yourself to try to get the funds you need to start working with Ray… you’ll make your ROI. in very short order.

If You are in Network Marketing and You weren’t in Las Vegas this past weekend… then you probably missed out on the BEST venue for the Industry in quite some time. The program was put on by Ray & Ferny (Raymond Fong & Fernando Ceballos) of SEO Networker… and by all accounts, they hit one out of the park!

There was an amazing line-up of talent presented at this venue… probably the BIGGEST concentration of Network Marketing SUPERSTARS in one location… at one time… EVER! The list of presenters was AWESOME :

Ray Higdon - Mark Hoverson - Norbert Orlewicz and Brian Fanale from MLSP - Jay Kubassek - David Wood - Justin Christianson - Tim Erway - Susan Sly - Paula Pritchard -Diane Hochman - Todd Falcone – Aaron Rashkin - Andrew Cass - Joey Klein – Jackie Ulmer – Mike Dillard

Now, I DIDN’T get to attend in person! However, I do think that I had the very best seat in the house! Ray & Ferny had a simulcast set up… a “LIVE” broadcast of the EVENT that was pretty much flawless!

The sound was excellent and apart from the occasional freeze frame, things went off without a hitch. I live in a very small town 3 hrs north of Toronto, Canada and kept my fingers crossed that my DSL would hold out long enough for the broadcast.

It turns out that the DSL gods favoured me because it was perfect! While locally we had a power outage, I managed to take my laptop to a neighbouring area and watched it from a hilltop!

I have to say that I would be remiss if I didn’t give special accolades to TODD FALCONE who did double duty as MC…He was outstanding! You ROCK Todd!

I have never been to a Network Marketing event before and from the outset it didn’t look like I could make this one either. (I’m a care-giver for my step-dad.. and I have an immigration issue :>/ ) I was also going to be without internet access the day that this event was going to be opened up to purchase the “LIVE” broadcast tickets… so with a little pleading on my part, Ray & Ferny let me in early.

I only mentioned that out of GRATITUDE to those guys… Thank You Ray, Thank You Ferny… because I honestly feel that this event was a turning point for me. Not only in Network Marketing, but in relationships, self-confidence and “knowing” I am on the right track… just need to take the next step.

I found that when I was as isolated as I am, or thought I was, and without any previous experience, that I was soooooo far behind everyone else. But speaker, after speaker carried the same message…”You can do this….” . Their stories were different, but they all overcame HUGE obstacles to achieve success and reassured us all that they were not gifted with special talents we did not possess. However they did point out two or three qualities they felt you must possess…. FOCUS, DISCIPLINE, and your reason “WHY?”

This was without a doubt the BEST event I’ve ever attended. It was content-rich, value packed… with the best training resources and tools that you could ask for. YES.. I am a NETWORK MARKETER…. there are NO EXCUSES!!

Late last year I had the opportunity to spend an AMAZING weekend via an online “Live Seminar” with the Master Marketer… EBEN PAGEN. His title for this program is,

“The Seeds of SUCCESS”. Certainly, here is someone who is a self-made man!

He mentioned early on in his presentation some personal details, for those who were not familiar with his story. Like… his family was poor – that he had his first new pair of shoes only when he was a teenager. Somehow, he managed along the way to believe in himself despite the harsh lifestyle… or maybe because of it!

You Have to Believe in YOU!

I can see how he has brought himself up from very humble beginnings … really, rather impoverished would probably be more accurate… to last year selling over $29 Million of product – WORKING FROM HOME!

ALL I can say is that the program is EXCELLENT! Be sure to add Eben Pagen’s, “The Seeds of SUCCESS” to your Personal Development Library when it becomes available in a couple of months… it’ll be worth the wait!

Now, there is some commonality that carries over from my last post, to this one …and amongst all those that I’ve highlighted… Eben Pagen, Mark Hoverson, Jonathan Budd and Jodie Thompson. That is:

- they all accept that there is a metaphysical aspect to their success

- they believe they will be successful

- they meditate …in one form or another

Not to take anything away from these gurus of the internet marketing world, because they are all successful.

But…there are those who may need a Real Master of techniques that go beyond the

physical… someone who has Direct connection to the metaphysical universe…

Dr. Baskaran Pillai. He will be opening a program for a limited number of students in March 2012… it might just be Your KEY TO SUCCESS !

(go to pillaicenter.com for current and upcoming online/offline programs, ExoticIndia excursions… and more!)

Manifesting Your Life…Those are very powerful words. If you were to break it down into its constituent parts, we’ve heard it so many times, it may not mean a whole lot… But when you put intention behind it, it means EVERYTHING! Manifesting…? Some of us seem to do it easier than others, at least to the human eye it appears that way. Through the understanding given us by the Rishis, we know that it is possible to manifest quickly, if not instantly!

For most of us there tends to be a struggle in faith, belief, ego and what we see as the truth. Others seem to cut right through to the chase. Whether that is stronger faith, belief or just plain “good Karma”… Who knows? One thing is pretty certain though, usually those that manifested easiest have had the benefit of a higher understanding of the metaphysical laws of the universe.

MANIFEST YOUR LIFE

There is no mistaking… however unclear one may be seeing… that when you are in the presence of such a powerful energy it is palpable. Those that are manifesting quickly usually also have the guidance of a spiritual teacher or benefactor.

I was listening to a call today, a teaching call for program called “THE QUANTUM MIND PROGRAM”. The facilitator of the program, read the short response from a new student, who in her own words had been searching for 25 years for something like this but hadn’t found anything until recently.

Here is an excerpt… “In just 6 days since starting the Quantum Mind practice I’ve effortlessly launched a new business, found the vacation property of my dreams and shifted my mind from “ticker tape” mode to quiet, peace and clarity. I feel divine. At last, a simple program that works at quantum speed!”

Yep… She had faith no doubt! She was determined! She’d been looking for 25 years for God’s sake… So she knew what she found when she saw it. But the key was… the teaching. These teachings unlocked the power she already had within. Can You Imagine…? In 6 days she was able to manifest what she’d been trying to do for 25 years! That is the power of the Quantum Mind Program.

Dr.Pillai has developed this program based on the esoteric teachings of the Vedas and has adapted them for our current environment and needs. He is a Master of the Tamil Siddha tradition… Known for their dedication to the evolution of mankind. The program takes students on a 12 month epic journey into the self and beyond.

There will be many Great things, and I’m certain that we’ll hear of more FABULOUS results will be coming out of this program!

I get so excited when I hear how people’s lives are changed by this esoteric technology.

A Friend of mine wrote about his experience which he has permitted me to share:

“My experience with Dr. Pillai’s first QMP teleconference call was incredibly powerful. It had a tremendous transformative impact on my consciousness, more so than any of his previous calls. I was in an expansive, altered state of mind/being…and this state lasted throughout the day. I have no doubts that the benefits will continue the transformation process on the physical, mental and spiritual level in quantum leaps. After having participated in his previous program such as DKRP, I have experienced dramatic increases in my results, with far less struggle and effort. Overall, I feel totally in alignment with my own higher self and purpose.” Venkatesh, New York NY

I share this story and these experiences because of their miracle consciousness…it can be yours too! It does require one to do the practice, yet at the same time is effortless. Now everyone has an opportunity to take part and participate not only in their own higher evolution but in the evolution of the entire planet! Quantum Mind Program

Yesterday was a day for going beyond our perceived limitations by breaking boards and breaking shackles... a most gratifying but unusual day!

Breaking Boards… Breaking Shackles – Go Beyond Your Perceived Limitations

Everybody has somewhat of a different answer… because it’s usually addressing something that they, as an unique individual, have put a value on. Do you ever just ask yourself that question? Better still …do you ever stop in your pursuit of “success” to see what it is that you’re really chasing?

How do YOU measure success? It has been my experience that most people never really embrace the joy that they believe this elusive “success” might bring them. Why?… because a majority of them have never clearly defined for themselves what it would mean to them. It’s a term that holds as many different meanings as there are people on the planet!

So… just how do you achieve your success?

There are theories from the great thinkers of our time…. and from traditions steeped in the past, which would suggest that just as there are people on the planet, who become our mentors, so too are there “invisible energies” that guide us to our success. To some, it’s a “higher power”, or “divine guidance” that they tap in to. Others may simply refer to it as being their intuition, or inspiration. I think most would agree though, that at some time in their life, an answer or idea has seemingly come out of nowhere to provide guidance to a problem, question or situation that they were trying to resolve.

What if this hidden source of creativity was always available to you… just for the asking? To access this “invisible” guide all we simply need to do is quiet the mind and sincerely ask for the guidance. It’s something that we can all connect to. This guidance that I’m referring to is within reach of everyone through higher states of awareness. Don’t take my word for it… TRY IT!

One method to access these higher states is often found through meditation. It’s through the practice of meditation and quieting your mind that one discovers a veritable treasure chest of ideas and realizations that may have not been available, or consciously aware of, before. It’s here that if you don’t already know, you can really find out what you passion is… and from there… what “success” might look like.

Of course, as individuals we all have our own personal wants, needs, goals and dreams that we wish to manifest. For many, it’s the material possessions that are equated with as a standard of success. Here is where I would invite you to participate in your own analysis of the principles which make for success in your life.

Keep it Simple

It can be as simple or as complicated as you wish to make it. Simple is better… and I state that without reserve, primarily because you would want to see where you are at this moment… and not be overly concerned with respect to where you feel you should be. It’ll help if you make it a goal to achieve, not lament that about how far you still have to go, or what you still have not got yet. GRATITUDE for what you have achieved, received and where you are right now will help you reach your goals faster than absolutely any other thing that you could possibly do.

It’s an interesting dilemma …this “success “- because as was said at the outset… it means so many different things to just about anyone you would encounter. Rise above the din of the outside world you are continually immersed in, and take a few minutes to just stop and ponder…“how can I avail myself of this technology?” or perhaps… “show me the easiest/best way/path to resolving problem “A”… ” but most of all ask for clarity. Clarity of vision, goals, service and anything else which you can offer which in your mind, defines….. Success!
