What is Life?

I‘ve had this tune from the early 80′s  rollin’ around my “world” for the last couple of weeks. It’s been in my head… in my car, on my computer, my smartphone. It’s a reggae tune, done by a Jamaican band called “Black Uhuru”. It was the combination of the driving rhythm section of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare that made the music work at the time… and it still sounds great all these years later. (btw… If you like reggae and by some strange chance you haven’t heard it, it’s a really cool tune – here’s a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg9SYIkwzNg)

But it’s the lyrics behind the music that kept it spinning in my world… it’s called

“What is Life?”

What is life? Life is a spell
What is life? No one can tell
What is life? I try to see
What is life? It’s looking bleak

They control the treasure of our birthright
And to survive we have to struggle and fight
The present confrontation of our mind
The flexibility of our vision

What is life? I try to see
What is life? It’s unity
What is life? I try to feel
What is life? It’s really real

Everyone say they are not excited
While our vineyard exploited
African woman hold me close to you
Help me to find don’t get separated

What is life? Life is a treat
What is life? Nothing but cheat
What is life? Life is a test
What is life? Some man Jah bless

They control the pleasure of our birthright
And to survive we have to struggle and fight
The present confrontation of our mind
The flexibility of our vision

I‘m not about to dispute the author’s words, because that’s HIS experience! However, what I DO BELIEVE is that in every moment, we are creating that experience… good, bad, or indifferent.

We face all kinds of lessons throughout our lifetime and how we respond to them will dictate the existence we have. We can have struggle and strife… and think God, or the Universe “has it in for us”. We could also look upon whatever we’ve just experienced as a lesson from the universe to be understood.

How do you tell the difference? How can you change your perceptions? You’ve probably tried a couple of techniques, or programs and still not achieved the success you’d hoped for.

There is ANOTHER Way!

What is Life?

I have had the extreme good fortune to have a teacher, Dr. Pillai, to guide me in my life, to answer those eternal questions. Someone who goes beyond religion and dogma… someone authentic who embraces science and theology. He is both a scholar and a mystic. He has been in academia and taught at the university level (PhD and 2 Masters). He has taught meditation for over 2 decades… bringing positive change into the lives of thousand upon thousands of students… from every walk of life, worldwide.

What is Life?

He consulted with the Super-Rich and has established, developed and operates successful businesses of his own.  He is the author of several books and has been invited to speak on international spiritual symposiums.

All of His efforts are focussed on improving life for everyone on the planet. He supports his dedication to the evolution of humanity, through his charitable organization… Tripura Foundation.

And NOW… He has brought forward some of the most precious, timeless teachings to share with the world in a way which addresses the needs and concerns of our modern society.

What is Life?

The QUANTUM Mind Program is Dr. Baskaran Pillai‘s gift to humanity. It is a year long program that consists of three distinct levels of participation. It employs the ancient wisdom of Patanjali ( of which Dr. Pillai  has intimate knowledge and consummate understanding) applied with the esoteric sounds of  Dr. Pillai‘s unique Mind Science Technology.

The QUANTUM Mind Program will not only answer those questions about life, but will powerfully equip you with the tools you need to radically change your life. It will take you into a life… not of  suffering and disappointment… but one of your own design.

The Message is the Same, Well Almost

The “gurus” and the GURU

Now, you’d probably be in good company if you were to ask yourself… “What the heck is that Boy talkin’ about?” And who would blame you? “The Message is the Same, Well Almost” doesn’t seem to make sense… and then you add “gurus” and “GURU” ? I’d be first to agree at the outset it does sound a tad baffling… but let me fill in a little bit more and you’ll see what I’m trying to convey.

The GURU is my spiritual teacher, whom I’ve referred to in this blog many times before… Dr. Baskaran Pillai. The small “g” gurus refers to any of a number of EXCEPTIONAL internet marketing entrepreneurs, but in this case I’m speaking specifically about my sponsor in GRN, Mark Hoverson, as well as the savvy

Jodie Thompson and the ubiquitous Mr. Jonathan Budd.

The Message

You might ask what the commonality of their messages could possibly be? While Mark, Jodie and Jonathan’s message is more about commerce, it is how they have introduced some essential tools in their teachings that are fundamental elements of their success… or for that matter, anyone’s success.

Dr. Pillai’s message for this “Quantum Mind” age is showing us how to utilize the wisdom handed down to us from the Sages of ancient India. In theVedas, the ancient texts of India, proclaim the truth, “Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavati” (Sanskrit; You become as you think).

I’ve listened to the messages from the small “g”s… and where  the commonality is lies in the teaching that “we ALL” have this ability within us. That’s not what surprises me. It’s that recently this theme has been more pervasive in the internet marketing industry. These three in particular, I find are actually putting a considerable emphasis in their teaching of how to be a successful internet marketer by suggesting that “going within”  will bring you the resources that will really make the difference.

Service to Others

Jonathan Budd has his “Life Transformation Now” series of programs. Jodie Thompson, as one of Budd’s affiliates on that program, has a monthly “live” support class. This, for me personally, is of more benefit because of the interaction amongst the attendees. There is also an added personal interest that you can really sense that this is not  about money for her. You KNOW she cares! Jodie has a strong focus on “serving” her clients to bring the best out in each of them… something we, as students readily acknowledge.

I am particularly enamored with Mark Hoverson. THIS Guy is a “down-to-earth” SuperSTAR!  Now here is a guy with a family… wife, kids, dog …who earns 7 figures annually. What’s impressive about that is, I believe it was about 24 months ago… He Qualified for FOOD STAMPS!! He’ll tell you that Himself!

“So… he’s got money, so what?”, you say. The thing of it is he’s helping everyone he meets to do the same… and still is humble surrounding it all.

The spiritual truth is a business maxim. Service to others, without thought of reward, will bring you more “gold” than you could imagine. Hook up with Jodie Thompson, Mark Hoverson or Jonathan Budd… and they will show you the “treasure map”.

Get Facebook Fans Quickly

Facebook can be a powerful tool for promoting your company, but only if you have a lot of fans interested in your products. So how do you get a lot of fans quickly? There’s one sure fire way that works just about every time.

First thing’s first, make sure your Facebook page is fully filled out. When your new fans get to your page, it’s important for them to have something to look at, so you want to have all of the information about your company up and ready to read. It also wouldn’t hurt to have friends and family sign up so you can get a few conversations going before anyone new comes to your page.

Now, here’s the most important part, think about your audience, and make sure your page is going to appeal to them in some sort of meaningful way Your page should either inform them about something they’re really excited about, or entertain them Take the time to work, and rework your Facebook page until it has some meaningful value to your fans. Once you’re content that your Facebook page is compelling to your audience, it’s time to move on to the next step.

Search Facebook for other pages that might appeal to your customers. Try to pick something directly relevant to your company, but not one of your direct competitors. Look for pages that have a high number of fans, over 100,000 if possible. Once you find a page that fits all the requirements, it’s time to reach out to the admin of that page. If they don’t allow messages right on their page, leave a note for them in the discussions section. If that doesn’t work, try posting a comment on their wall asking them to contact you. Once you get in touch with them, ask them to take a look at your page, and if they like it, ask them to post about it on their wall. If a Facebook page with over 100,000 fans posts about your page, it’s a pretty safe bet you’ll see somewhere around 20,000 new fans by the end of the week.

If your content is high quality, you’ll be able to find someone with a more popular Facebook page to post about it for you. All it takes is one good Facebook page to feature your page. Once that happens, you’ll be on the road to Facebook success.

Use Social Media To Connect With Your Customers

Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter allow you to do more than just push ads at your customers, they let you connect with them in a meaningful way. Imagine for a second that you could send a friendly representative out to a public place to talk to your customers on an individual level. If you sent that rep to Times Square in New York City, and told them to talk to as many of your customers as they possibly could, how many people people do you think they’d reach in one day? 100? 200? Chances are they’d encounter a lot of people that just didn’t care about your product. They would also run into a lot of people who just weren’t interested in talking to a stranger.  If you sat that same rep down, and armed them with a Twitter account, and a Facebook account, you’d wind up with completely different results.

People might not want to talk to strangers, or company reps in a public place, but on the internet it’s a totally different story. Facebook, and Twitter users want you to talk to them on a personal level. People use social media to connect with other people in a direct way, and you can use that to your advantage.

Facebook gives you a lot of options for community building when you set up a page for your company. You can post things to your wall, reply to customers’ comments, and start full on discussions about your products and services. To really connect with your customers, you have to do all of these things. Talk about your product, talk about other products in your niche, and answer customers’ questions. The most important thing you can do on Facebook, or any social network for that matter, is talk to your visitors.

Twitter offers equally powerful tools for talking to your customers. Twitter users can @reply or direct message one another. If you’re on Twitter, and one of your customers does either, be sure to answer them. Don’t just give them an answer copied directly from a press release or other corporate literature, really answer them in a personal way. Likewise, look for Twitter users talking about your product, and message them if they have any questions. By being proactive, and messaging upset customers before they message you, you can improve your public image significantly.

Twitter and Facebook each let you connect directly to your customers on their level. Dom’t pass up that opportunity. When you’re talking to someone one on one on a social networking site, it’s not just a one on one conversation – other users see it, and ultimately, that can do great things for your reputation.
