“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”
So said one of the greatest thinkers of the modern era… the German-American physicist/philosopher, Albert Einstein. He is oft times quoted to have said, ” Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” It’s evident from other writings that he was not a proponent of specific dogma, but rather used the term “religion” as recognition of a “higher power” in the universe.
Einstein’s observation gives rise to the question…
“What would you do if you woke up one morning… only to be made aware through your own understanding, that EVERYTHING you have experienced was just a DREAM? Absolutely EVERY moment that you had lived up to that very instant…was but a dream?”
Boggles the mind, doesn’t it?
Stay with me for a moment, because as concise as I can possibly be… that is exactly what the ancient seers of India, known as “rishis”, have propounded for thousands of years. This belief …this information… is becoming more widespread. It is being studied by the scientists of today, exploring the field of Quantum physics… who are proving many of these theories to be true!
“Maya” (my-ah) is a Sanskrit word for illusion.
Poverty is an illusion…
Your weight is an illusion…
Your failure is an illusion…
To the group of Rishis known as Siddhas (sid – haws), this was not a theory, but rather a “truth” which was revealed to them through deep meditation over extremely long (by modern standards) periods of time. Then… they “gifted” mankind with a remedy…
The Siddhas were brilliant scientists of their time. Through their own intense spiritual practices, they attained miraculous supernormal (Siddhi) powers… such as the power to manifest material objects from ether, bi-locate (appear in two places at the same time) and become invisible.
Patanjali is one of the foremost Siddhas who lived around 200 BC and is regarded as the Father of Yoga. Today, we find his writings… “ Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras”… to be the foremost classical text and the unparalleled authority on yoga. Yoga , in the strictest sense is not about the physical postures, although that is one aspect of it. Yoga means “the union of Mind and Body”.
When the Mind and Body are truly united… working as One, the Siddhas teach us through their acquired supernormal (Siddhi) powers that we too can experience that nothing is impossible.
What would it be like to have these Siddhi powers?
* to know the future?
* to read other people’s minds?… or
* to astral travel?
Do you want to acquire power…
* to manifest your thoughts into material reality?
* to know your past lives?
